Synopsis
At six years old, Amy was torn from everything familiar and thrust into a system marked by instability, abuse, and neglect. Her childhood unfolded through foster care, sexual trauma, and addiction, leaving her wounded and angry long before she reached adulthood.
At seventeen, her life fractured again when her mother was murdered. Grief-stricken and untethered, Amy fled to the streets of Nashville, where survival quickly gave way to exploitation and crack addiction. Over the next three years, she endured violence, repeated arrests, and profound isolation.
In the darkest moments of her life, on the very streets that nearly destroyed her, Amy encountered God.

Amy’s story illustrates the power of resilience and the hope that transformation is possible. Through her faith in Christ, she began to step out of darkness into a brighter, more hopeful future. The film examines addiction, sexual exploitation, childhood trauma, and the foster care system, showing how these challenges intersect and shape lives. Audiences can use the film to spark discussion, educate, and inspire action.
