If we as media professionals are going to call ourselves missionaries, then let us look well to those who have gone before us. I am not speaking of the Lumière brothers, D.W. Griffith, or Hitchcock, nor am I considering the trailblazers of the 21st-century Christian film movement. I am talking about the pioneers of modern missions.
We recently worked with PureFlix producer, Brittany Yost to record a few statements from the Newsboys’ Michael Tait for the upcoming film, God’s Not Dead, a Light in Darkness. I’m old school, so I was like, “Michael Tait from DC Talk? Sure we’ll help.”
“Could that be C4?” He nodded to her purse.

I jumped out of my seat and traded places with my translator, asking her to investigate the woman’s phone.
